Kerry Lynn Cockrell

Kerry Lynn Cockrell, 63, of Caraway passed away on June 16, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born October 1, 1962 in Moline, Illinois to Willie Cockrell and Lavern Morgan.

Kerry was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. He was a jack of all trades and was always willing to help with a project or offer advice. Above all else, Kerry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was so proud of his beautiful family.

He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Elizabeth Harris; his son, Dewayne Cockrell; and his sisters, Sheila Tucker and Sherry Hall.

Kerry is survived by his children, Randy Cockrell of Harrisburg, Jessica Davis and husband, Bradley, of Monette, and Brandy Cockrell of Harrisburg; mother, Lavern Morgan of Caraway; brothers, Jimmy Cockrell of Caraway and Allen Underwood of Caraway; many beloved grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
