Kenny Parish

Kenny Parish, 60 of Bay, passed from this life Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emogene Parish; his sister, Shelly Gill and his brother in law Darrell Floyd.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Valerie Parish, of 31 years of the home; and his daughter, Molly Parish (Colby Burrow); his brother, Wayne (Gaye) Parish; sisters, Sue Floyd, Barbara Edings, Sandy (Larry) Dedrick, Judy (Eddie) Houston, Cathy Kelley, Beverly (Miles) Doyle, Terry Lawrence, Becky Parish, Amy (James) Parish and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mother in law, Goldie Heath; sister in law, Nikki (Tim) McDaniel; father and mother in law, David and Shirley Moore; brother in law, Davy Moore; sister in law, Jennifer (Alan) Bigham.

Kenny was that one man that always smiled and joked around no matter how bad he was hurting.  If you ever asked him how he was feeling, his answer was always “I’m fine”.  He was that man that was so full of joy and made you feel loved.  His love was unconditional and always forgiving.  He adored his family, his wife and especially his daughter Molly, she was his pride and joy.  He loved taking his family to the beach that was his “happy place”.

Kenny fought a long hard battle of cancer but never gave up hope and stayed optimistic.  He was a strong, kind loving man, loved by many family and friends.

He will be missed by many.  This world lost a wonderful man.
