Kenneth "Paul" Book

Kenneth “Paul” Book, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He was born on January 18, 1949 in Paragould to the late Cleatus Doyle Book Sr. and Dorothy Ponder Book. Paul attended Trumann First Assembly of God and graduated from Arkansas State University with a Business degree. He was a firefighter for Jonesboro Fire Department for 11 years before starting his own construction company, Book Construction. Paul had a green thumb and always enjoyed keeping a vegetable garden. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his sons, Jeremy Michael Book and Jeffery Mark Ingram.

Paul is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dianne Book of Jonesboro; daughter, Amber Book of Jonesboro; son, Brandon Carter(Gina) of Trumann; brothers, Cleatus Doyle Book Jr. (Zelma) and Ricky Nathan Book (Sue); sisters, Diana Cook (Johnny); grandchildren, Tarah Henderson, Michael Book, Matthew Book, Avery Genhiemer, Hannah Carter, and Kyler Carter; great grandchild, Braxton Baker. Paul also leaves behind his faithful dog, Bullet.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. The visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 2:00 p.m. The burial will be private.
