Kenneth "Kenny" Phillips

Kenneth “Kenny” Mack Phillips, 71, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 45 years, moving here from Paragould. Kenny was a member of the Woods Chapel Baptist Church. He was the Market Manager at Hayes prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death cy his brother, Clifford Phillips.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Brenda Phillips of the home; son, Tim Phillips of Jonesboro; daughter, Sheila Beshiers (Kenny Joe) of Jonesboro; brother, Larry Phillips of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters, Wava Huggins of Paragould, Dorothy Tolley of Hurst, Texas; Elwanda Yates of Walnut Ridge; and Gloria Creech of Memphis; grandchildren, Blake Beshiers, Brooke Beshiers and Taylor Phillips; one great grandchild, Destrey.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2012 at Pine Log Cemetery with Rick Hathcoat officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.
