Kenneth C. Easter, 77, of Weiner passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House with his family by his side.
He was born on November 15, 1940 in the Risher area near Cash to the late Ezra E. and Edna Tatum Easter. He lived most of his life in the Weiner area. He farmed most of his career, besides the four years he spent in the army and the few years he worked in manufacturing. He loved sports especially watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved being with his family and he spent every minute he could with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Blanchard Easter of the home; one son, Eric Easter of Weiner; two daughters, Vicki (Jason) French of Maumelle and Deanne (Kraig) Neely of Weiner; four grandchildren, Kennedy Neely, Kaysen Neely, Drake Ortman, and Liam French; three sisters Mattie Bradley of Jonesboro, Linda Neal of Harrisburg, and Glenda (Carl) Neal of Swifton; and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be Wednesday at 1pm at Emerson Funeral Home with Carl Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Clark Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Gary Easter, Dennis Neal, Tommy Bradley, Roger Bradley, Chris Bradley, and Jeremy Cobb. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Easter, David Schwarz, Mike Anschultz, Bim Anschultz, Matt Dement, and Larry Brooks.
Visitation will be from 11-1 on Wednesday at Emerson Funeral Home.
