Kenneth M. Collins Jr.

Kenneth M. Collins, Jr., 40 of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday from injuries received in a car accident. Ken was born in Blytheville to Kenneth Collins, Sr., and Chris Bosch Collins. Ken was a Baptist and was a member of Central Baptist. Ken loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, boating, being at the lake and singing. He was active and involved in his son’s sports of baseball, basketball, and football. Ken graduated in 2003 from ASU with a BS degree in civil engineering.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Anne Collins, Clarence and Carol Bosch, and Aunt Carol Perdue. Survivors include parents, Kenneth Collins, Sr and mother Chris Collins; sons, Zachary, Ryan and Jax Collins and their mother, Kelly Collins, sister, Christie Collins and brother, Michael Collins; Aunt, Denise Boggs; uncles, Terry (Donna) Bosch, John (Deb) Collins and Gary (Phi) Collins; and many cousins; Brothers in law, Scott Brady (Beth) and Tim Brady (Jenise).

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Service will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Central Baptist Church with Don Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
