Kenneth R. Brogdon Sr.

Kenneth R. Brogdon Sr., 66, of Jonesboro died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at St Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on September 29, 1947 to Orvil and Johnnie Owens Brogdon. He had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a self employed electrician and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Navy Vietnam veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter; Adrianne Coots.

Survived by his loving wife; Shelia Brogdon of the home.

Sons; Scott Tennison of Montanna, Kenneth Brogdon Jr, of Paragould.

Step Sons; Shawn Coots of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Michael Coots of Houston, Texas and Mark Coots and wife Nikki of Jonesboro. Daughter; Melissa Atchley and husband Todd of Jonesboro.

Sisters; Christine Holloway of Jonesboro, Geraldine Brewer of Thayer, Missouri and Sharon Quesada of Squaw Valley, California.

12 grandchildren with two of whom he raised; Gabriel and Brianne Coots and 1 great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Bono Church of Christ with Bro. Gary Cremeens officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. There will be no visitation.
