Kenneth Boyd Spradley

Kenneth Boyd Spradley, 70, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Advanced Care Hospital of White County in Searcy. Born in Bakersfield, California, Kenneth moved to the Jonesboro area in 1966 where he lived most of his life.

He worked in construction and drove a Valley View school bus for several years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Virdie Wilbanks Spradley and by a sister, Linda Conners.

Survivors include a brother, Charles Spradley of Jonesboro; and 3 sisters, Gloria Savage of Oildale, California, and Wilma Smith and Carol Allen, both of Reno, Nevada.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
