Kay Frances Davis

Kay Frances Davis, age 82, of Jonesboro, passed away on September 15, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on October 23, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Leo H. and Pearl Elladee Daume.

Kay had been a resident of Jonesboro for approximately 44 years, having moved from Memphis. She was a cherished and long-time member of the First United Methodist Church. Kay's love for flowers was evident to all who knew her. She took great pleasure in tending to her yard and capturing the beauty of her beloved flowers through photography.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stuart W. Davis.

She is survived by her two brother-in-law’s and their spouses, Richard (Jennifer) Davis of Concord, NH, and Brad (Linda) Davis of Alton, NH.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate Kay's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the NEA Humane Society, First United Methodist Church Care Team, or the Helping Neighbors Food Pantry in Kay's memory.

Kay will be remembered for her devotion to her church, her love of flowers, and her unwavering kindness towards others. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
