Kathy Ann Luna

Kathy Ann Luna, 59, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born on December 14, 1964, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leonard and Patricia Vanderburg Cabrera.

Kathy was a woman of great spirit and artistic passion. She was of the Baptist faith and a proud member of the Lone Wolf Family Motorcycle Club, where she found camaraderie and adventure. Her love for arts and crafts, as well as her appreciation for Native American art, reflected her creative soul and deep connection to cultural heritage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Leonard (Joan) and Patricia Cabrera (Richard); and two beloved grandchildren, Gregory Burr and Gavin Burr.

Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Frank Luna of Harrisburg; her children, Greg Burr (Emily Lawrence) of Jonesboro, James Allen of Selma, California, and Laquitta Marsh (Jason) of Harrisburg; her siblings, Bobby Leonard, Timothy Leonard (Juanita), Matthew Leonard (Darlene), and Charles Turner, all of Jonesboro, as well as Sandy and Shirley Cabrera of Madera, California. Kathy also leaves behind a legacy of love in her 15 grandchildren, her uncle Jimmie Leonard, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Don Vuncannon. Burial will be private.

Kathy’s warm smile, love for her family, and artistic talents will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
