Kathy Kee

Kathy Kee, 64, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro for the past 46 years, moving here from Swifton. Kathy was of the Baptist belief. She retired as a RN from St. Bernard’s and had also taught at North School. Kathy was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, J. A. and Lafon Alexander and her mother AvaNell Looney.

Survivors include her sons, Shannon Kee (Elaine); Cabern Kee; Micah Ishmael and Jackson Kee all of Jonesboro; brothers, Joe Alexander of Chidester, Arkansas; Bryan Looney of Rogers; sister, Lanell Hergenroeder of Newport; grandchildren, Hailey Kee, Hunter Kee, Austin Kee, Seth Ishmael, Shea Ishmael, Emma Ishmael and Luke Ishmael; and significant other, Al Ishmael.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Jim Kee officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Swifton Cemetery with Cary Long, Jonathan Crafton, Joe Alexander, Eric Kifer, Steve Ishmael and Phillip Faughn serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-7 Monday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
