Kathy Paulette Householder

Kathy Paulette Householder, 74, passed away on July 5, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born on September 14, 1949 in Trumann to JC Bland and Helen Bland. She spent nearly her entire life in the Bay and Lake City areas, where she was a cherished member of the community.

Kathy was a woman of deep faith, devoted to her Southern Baptist beliefs. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, where she found great comfort and joy in reading her Bible. Her devout faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and providing solace throughout her years.

A homemaker by choice and passion, Kathy loved taking care of her family. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially reading and needlepoint. Her home was filled with warmth and love, a testament to her nurturing spirit and dedication to her loved ones.

Kathy is preceded in death by her father, JC Bland, her son, David Householder, and her brother, Jerry Bland.

Kathy leaves behind her loving husband, Kenneth Householder; her devoted daughter, Cindy Howard (Michael); her cherished mother, Helen Bland; her dear sister, Delois Gatewood (Robert); and her treasured grandson, Mason Householder (Anna).

Funeral service for Kathy will be held on Tuesday, July 9 in Emerson Funeral Home Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Danny Taylor officiating the service. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. till the start of the service. Interment will be at Nettleton Cemetery on Wednesday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Mason Householder, Joe Householder, Michael Howard, Nick Moreno, Michael Burnside, and Jonathan Wood. In lieu of flowers the family request for donation to be made to Nafa Rescue and the Children’s Home Equin Therapy Program.

Kathy's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will always remember her unwavering faith, loving nature, and the beautiful legacy she left behind.
