Kathryn G Granger

Kathryn G. Granger, 89, of Paragould passed from this life on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. She was born October 6, 1934 in Wynne to the late Dave and Vyrble Neal.

Kathryn enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with family. She was a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Granger; son, Jerry Granger; sisters, Mary Adams and Laverne Rowllett; brothers, Bill Neal and Dale Neal as well as four grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Tommy) Shelton of Jonesboro and Judy (Matt) Butler of Jonesboro; sons, Freddie (Mary Jo) Granger of Paragould, Albert “Porky” (Bonnie) Granger of Brookland and Steven (Kattie) Granger of Jonesboro; sisters, Betty Purtee Newberry and Margaret Cook; daughter-in-law, Veronica Granger as well as 23 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

The visitation will precede the funeral service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Philadelphia Cemetery.
