Kathleen Edwards Cooper

Kathleen Edwards Cooper, 83, of Jonesboro died Friday, December 7, 2018, at NEA Baptist Hospital.  She was born in Paul’s Switch near Bono.  She moved back to Jonesboro in 1988, moving here from Florence, Alabama.  She was of the Baptist belief. She graduated high school in 1951 at the age of 16.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one child.

Survivors include her son, Terry Cooper, of the home; brother, Fred Edwards (Sharon) of Mountain Home; sister, Barbara Wortham (Bobby) of Brookland.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Joe Guthrie officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Bobby Wortham, Tony King, Scott Burton and Jared Burton serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Thursday.  To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
