Katherine "Qat" Herring

Katherine “Qat” Herring, 19, of Jonesboro died Sunday, November 11, 2012, in her home after a long and courageous battle with Chiari Malformation. Katherine is survived by her brother, Matthew Dauer, parents Rhonda Dauer of Jonesboro and Robert Herring of Sherwood, step-parents Melinda Herring and Robin Dauer, grandparents Yvonne Nipper, Robert Nipper, and Julian and Gendy Herring.

Katherine was a loving, brilliant, and witty young woman who faced adversity with humor, courage, and grace. She was generous with her love of family and friends and left all who knew her richer for her presence.

Her memorial service will be at St Mark's Episcopal Church, Jonesboro Arkansas, Thursday afternoon at 2pm, November 15, 2012. There will be no public visitation. Interment will follow the service at St. Mark's Episcopal Church with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
