Karen Tilley

Karen Tilley, 60, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday morning at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was Vice President of Operations for Liberty Bank. Karen was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. She had been in the banking profession since she was 18 years old but her greatest joy was her 3 grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her husband, Lee Tilley of the home. They would have been married for 40 years in June. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Rana Tilley; her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea & Dr. Craig Davis; and her wonderful grandchildren, Brock Davis, Abigail Davis, and Hayden Tilley, all of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Buster” & Susie Horton Gibson; a sister, Cindy Gibson; and her grandparents, Bob & Julia Gibson and M.C. & Dona Horton. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery with Jimmy Adcox officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Liberty Bank.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
