Karen Layne Sanders

Karen Layne Sanders 61, of Jonesboro died Thursday June 14, at St. Bernard’s.

She was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro and of the Baptist belief. She was a retired refurbish tech and was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Iwanda Layne, grandson, Trey Haney and her beloved dog “Pepper”.

Survived by her son, Shane Minton (Missy) of Jonesboro.

Daughter, Stacey Haney (Tracey) of Hardy.

Former husband,Terry Sanders of Jonesboro.
Brother, Ronnie Layne of Jonesboro.

Sisters, Tammy Arias and Gloria Grisham both of Jonesboro.

3 nieces and 1great niece and 5 grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday June18, at Philadelphia Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be no visitation.
