Kandi Renea Hanley, 21, of Brookland, died Sunday morning, January 9, 2011, at her home from injuries sustained in a personal assault.
Born in Jonesboro, Kandi lived all of her life in the Jonesboro-Brookland area. She had worked as a sales clerk in an area restaurant and attended the Nettleton Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed collecting dolphins.
Survivors include two daughters, her parents, Tina and Bob Warren of Jonesboro, her biological father, Phillip Hanley of Brookland, a brother, Bodey Hanley of Brookland, and a sister, Bridgette Andrews of Jonesboro.
Other survivors include grandparents, Billy and Louise Andrews of Brookland, Winford and Cora Warren of Jonesboro, Monroe and Betty Spencer of Jonesboro, and Betty Davis of Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ted Matlock officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include Bob Andrews, Bill Andrews, Ronnie Andres, Josh McGill, Cody Chadwick and Bob Warren.
Honorary pallbearers include Jim Stanfill, Earnie Stanfill, James Stanfill and Derek Warren.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:00 until service time in Emerson Chapel.
