Kaden Matheu Erickson, 13, of Jonesboro was called home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 18, 2015 in Memphis. He was born in Jonesboro on May 8, 2002 to John and Jeanne Erickson. Kaden was a smart and compassionate young man who always put others before himself. He was an old soul, who loved art and reading. Kaden had a love of dinosaurs that didn’t end as a young child; he could tell you facts about their diets, sizes, and descriptions. He was the only leftie in the family and will be greatly missed.

Kaden is survived by his parents, John and Jeanne Erickson; brother, Konor Erickson; sisters, Kilee Erickson, Kasen Erickson, and Klara Erickson; maternal grandparents, Doyle and Phyllis Baugus; and paternal grandparents, Gerald and Brenda Erickson . He also leaves behind many other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of St Judes Research Hospital.

The visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home.
