Justin Lee West

Justin Lee West, 26, of Bay passed from this life Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his residence.

He was born January 30, 1987 in Jonesboro to his parents Bruce and Terry McLeskey West. He was a member of the Nettleton High School class of 2005. After high school he went to work on the family farm in the Bay area, where he enjoyed working with his dad and brother. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, and he was known for his marksmanship with his guns. He was a loving dad, and was very excited about having another child on the way.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack West; maternal grandfather, Jim McLeskey; and a step grandfather, James Moon.

He is survived by his father, Bruce West and his wife Marilyn of Bay; mother, Terry Needham and her husband Mark of Jonesboro; one son, Rielan Lee West of Jonesboro; one brother, Jared West of Jonesboro, fiancée, Farrah Young of Trout, Louisiana; one step brother, Darren Criss and his wife Sandy of Jackson, TN; one step sister, Chelsey Gann and her husband James of Blytheville; paternal grandmother, Betty West of Jonesboro, maternal grandmother, Mary McLeskey of Jonesboro, step grandmother, Doris Moon of Trumann, and step grandparents, James and Martha Prescott of Jonesboro; a host of other family and friends; and his Jack Russell Terrier, Buddy.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time at Emerson Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Clayton, James Gann, Brandon Holt, Brett Despain, Justin Wewers, and Wes Hancock.
