Justin L. McQuay, 63, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on September 15, 2026. He was born on May 23, 1963, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the late James McQuay and Sammie McQuay. Justin was of the Baptist faith.
Justin had a deep love for music and enjoyed both listening to and playing music throughout his life. His favorite styles included country, gospel, and old Southern rock. He also enjoyed watching the Game Show Network and spending time fishing. He really loved his cowboy boots and took pride in wearing them.
Justin is preceded in death by his parents, James and Sammie McQuay; his wife, Frances McQuay; and one sister, Shelia McQuay.
He is survived by his son, Justin McQuay of Pocahontas; two daughters, Sandra McQuay of Ravenden and Kathy (Jerry) Spears of Marmaduke; three brothers, Larry Brown of Jonesboro, James Earl (Judy) McQuay of Jonesboro, and Robert McQuay of Evans, Georgia; four sisters, Barbara Pace of Jonesboro, Jodi Ann (Denny) Miller of Callahan, Florida, Shelby Jean McCain of Jonesboro, and Jamie (Alan) McClung of Truman; and six grandchildren, Tyler Heckathorn of the home, Austin (Brooke) Heckathorn of Pocahontas, Geovany Erazo of Pocahontas, Alyssa Stevens of Salem, Bianca Erazo of Marmaduke, and Emily McQuay of Jonesboro.
Justin will be remembered for the simple moments spent enjoying the things he loved and the people who were important to him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Services for Mr. McQuay will be private.
