June Mcdaniel

June McDaniel, 74, of Jonesboro, died Saturday morning at her home. She was born in Marked Tree and had lived her entire life in this area. She was a homemaker and her life revolved around her family. She was also a member of the Garden Club and a Sustaining Member of the Junior Auxiliary.

Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her husband of 54 years, Doswell McDaniel, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Alan & Emily McDaniel of Dallas; her precious grand dogs, Fletcher, Hershey, and Conner; and many other members of the McDaniel family.

She was preceded in death by her son Phillip McDaniel; her brothers, Billy Wayne Shipman, Joey Craig, Skippy Craig; her sister, Barbara Jones; her parents, J.D. & Lois Tyson Craig; and her precious dog Snuffy.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in McDaniel Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Bobby McDaniel, Danny McDaniel, Dustin McDaniel, George Williamson, Phil Brummett, and Hal Mantooth.

Visitation will be Sunday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
