June Gibson

June Gibson, 86 of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late Herbert Neil Stallings and Bernice King Stallings on April 10, 1933. June was store manager for Jac’s Appliance Store and bookkeeper for Lake City Lumber Company. She enjoyed staying busy, playing the piano, watching the game show network and most of all she loved her family. June was a faithful member of the Forest Home Church of the Nazarene. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul of 49 years; 2 brothers Neil Stallings and Harvey Stallings and 2 sisters Martha Brown and Delores Hendrix.

Survivors include 2 sons, Ed Gibson (Barbie) and Larry Gibson (Connie) all of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Earnie Stallings (Bobbie) and Herb Stallings (Sharon) all of Jonesboro; 4 grandchildren, Rob Gibson (Jill), Steve Gibson, Michael Gibson (Shelly), Mark Gibson (Jenny); and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Forest Home Church of the Nazarene from 10-11 AM with the service starting at 11. Ken Stallings will be officiating.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rob Gibson, Steve Gibson, Michael Gibson, Mark Gibson, Ryder Gibson and Sam Brown.
