Julio Ventura Rocha

Julio Ventura Rocha, 55, of Jonesboro, passed away on July 7, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Julio was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on February 16, 1969 to George Ventura and the late Juana Rocha. In addition to his mother, Julio is preceded in death by his grandparents and Father-in-Law, Ronald Gibson.

Julio was born in Mexico, but he eventually made his way to Texas. He lived in McKinney, TX for many years before meeting his wife, Sheryl. Eventually, Julio and his wife moved to Northeast Arkansas where they settled in Trumann. Julio spent all of his life working in lawncare. Being outdoors is where he belonged. He took great pride in maintaining well-manicured lawns for customers and himself. Lawncare kept him busy, but he was always looking for the next project. Julio was a gentle soul. He was friendly to everyone and always had a smile on his face. Most importantly, Julio loved being with his family and friends.

Julio is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sheryl Ventura; father, Antonio Ventura Flores; mother-in-law, Barbara Gibson and family; siblings, Jesus Ventura Rocha, Manuela Ventura Rocha, Amparo Ventura Rocha, Remedios Ventura Rocha, Antonio Ventura Rocha, Maria Guadalupe Ventura Rocha, Juan Gerardo Ventura Rocha, Gloria Jessica Ventura Rocha, Maria del Carmen Ventura Rocha, and Joerge Alberto Lopez Rocha; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Sheryl and the Ventura family would like to give a special thanks to friends and loved ones for all their moral support and love.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on July 18, 2024 at Emerson Funeral Home. A visitation will precede the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Burial will be private.
