Judy (Whaley) Killingsworth, 66, of Lepanto passed from this life Friday, September 15, 2017 at Baptist Memorial in Memphis, TN. She was born to the late Leonard and Maggie Cook in Vicksburg, MI on June 14, 1951. Judy lived most of her life in Lepanto where she was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Judy worked several years at Prince Gardner and Salant & Salant Sewing Company. She enjoyed traveling to Hardy and camping. Judy also loved spending time sowing, gardening, and quilting. Most of all Judy loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her brother: Mike McMullen.
Judy is survived by her husband, James Killingsworth of 11 years, of the home; two daughters: Linda Hall (James) of Tyronza and Diana Guerrant (Charles) Lepanto; two step sons: James E. Killingsworth Jr. (Lisa) of Lake City and Chris B. Killingsworth (Kiera) of Tacoma, WA; two sisters: Jean West (Mick) of Otseso, MI and Marilynn Evans of Sequim, WA; nine grandchildren: Cody Hall, Cy Whaley, Alee Guerrant, Colton Hall, Lilli-Anne Bates, Destiny Killingsworth, Chase Killingsworth, Felicia Williams, and Diarius Williams; and two great grandchildren: Kameron Alexander Guerrant and Eli Garrett.
A visitation will be from 2-4pm Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Tyronza First Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be 4:00 pm Sunday, September 24, 2017 following the visitation at Tyronza First Baptist Church with Brother Jon Epting officiating.
