Judy Warnick

Judy Kay Shannon Warnick, 77, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late Herbert and Thelma Waddell on December 19, 1941 in East St. Louis, Illinois. Judy graduated from Nettleton High School and was of the Baptist belief. In her younger days, Judy enjoyed fishing and being a homemaker for her family. As she grew older, she enjoyed visiting with company and talking on the phone with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Shannon; and her second husband, Frank Warnick.

Judy is survived by her sons, Randy Shannon (Beth) and Tony Shannon (Melissa) both of Jonesboro; daughter, Debbie Johnston (Brian) of St. Augustine, Florida; sisters, Donna Buchannan, Peggy Waddell, Herbie Hartness (Richard), and Pam Fletcher (Mike). Judy also leaves behind four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home with Richard Hartness officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial park Cemetery.
