Judy Sue Rodgers

Judy Sue Rodgers, 81, of Lunsford departed this life on Wednesday,February 28, 2024. She was born January 10,1943, to Jesse and Mary Jackson She was of the Baptist belief and a member of Bay First Baptist Church. She worked many years at ADT. She enjoyed watching old westerns, cooking shows, and listening to Daniel O’Donald music.

Preceding her in death were her parents; beloved husband of 39 years, Jerry Rodgers; sisters, Roseland Wilkins, Louise Bass, Betty Presson, Mary Joyce Presson, Bonnie Wilkins and Pat Peno; brothers, Donald Jackson, Terry Jackson, Jessie L. Jackson, and Michael Jackson.

Survivors include son, Steve Douglas (Kari) of Rogers, daughter Leslie Douglas of Trumann, step-sons Carbert Rodgers (Jeannie), Philip Rodgers of Bay; Jimmy Rodgers (Theresa); Donnie Rodgers of Lunsford; stepdaughter Rainia Reithemeyer (Kane) of Jonesboro. Grandchildren Logan Douglas, Lawson Douglas, Sage Douglas, Lauren Kincaid, Brittney Kincaid, Bailey Thompson, Payton Thompson. 3 Great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at Pine Log Cemetery starting at 10:30 a.m. with Bro. Danny Taylor officiating. The family will serve as pallbearers.
