Judy Carol Perkins, 78, passed away on May 31, 2023 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Judy was born December 8, 1944 in Jonesboro, AR to Bill and Wanda Hogan. Growing up, she loved to go skating and to the local hangout, then later canoeing and camping with family and friends.

Judy retired from ASU after 30 years as a secretary for numerous departments. She was a hardworking and loving mother and wife. She would work all day, go care for her parents, and then home to feed and care for her family.

She loved her husband Lavaughn, and son Steven dearly. She enjoyed oil painting, visiting with her wonderful neighbors and going to the casinos with her closest friends, but most of all playing with her fur babies, Harley and Bella.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Wanda Hogan, her sister Cleata and husband Lavaughn.

Judy is survived by her son Steven and daughter-in-law Jeri, nephew Charles Pratt and wife Janet, grandsons Clayton and Kirk, great-grandson Tucker, numerous nephews and nieces, many wonderful neighbors and friends, and her dogs, Harley and Bella.

Funeral services will be held at Emerson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
