Judy (Harlan) Bowen, 66, of Jonesboro, Arkansas was welcomed by her savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on August 27, 1952 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Bobbie Harlan; grandparents, Ollie and Lee Harlan, and Nelce and Mable Waters; sisters, Kathy Scott and Sheryl Wallis; and nephew, Robert Wallis III.
She is survived by her husband of five years, James Stephen “Steve” Bowen; daughter, Kimberly Sykes; granddaughters, Samantha Long, Mercedes Long, Tiffany Long, Brooke Warren and grandson John Phillip Aguilar, Jr.; brother, Mike Harlan; sister, Deborah Crain; brother in law, Richard Bowen and wife, Alicia; sister in law, Charlotte Bowen; nephews, Rev. Dr. Jason Bowen and wife, Tiffany; Rev. Walter Bowen and wife, Purnima; great nephews and nieces, Sam, CJ and Eva Bowen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She trusted the Lord and wanted to encourage everyone through John 11:25-26 “Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.”
A celebration of life service will be 1:30, Friday, June 21, 2019. Visitation will be held from 12:30–1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Jason Bowen and Rev.
