Judy Ann Belt

Judy Ann Belt, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House. She was born January 18, 1949 to the late Vernie Allen and Nona Wrinkle. Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Hampton and Verna Dodge; her brother, Jerry Allen; and her grandson, Kyle Belt.

Judy put herself through nursing school and worked hard as a nurse until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids, especially at large family gatherings. Judy loved to travel. She loved it so much that she would often go on multiple cruises with her sisters and her friends.

Judy is survived by her sons, Michael Belt (Katherine) and Jason Belt (Jamie); her daughter, Rebecca Belt; her brother, Glen Allen (Ann); three sisters, Patricia Avery, Sheliah Reece (Steve), and Brenda Allen; four grandchildren, Daniel, Amber, Lexi, and Mitchael; and three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Molly, and Austin.

Funeral services will be held at Emerson Funeral Home, Friday, October 9, 2020 at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Due to COVID 19 guidelines, a facemask must be worn while in the chapel.
