Judy Parks Atkinson

Judy Parks Atkinson, 61, of Jonesboro died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church. Judy was an LPN and enjoyed crafting. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lacretia Carmichiel; her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Mike Atkinson of the home; grandchildren, Elizabeth Carmichiel and James Carmichiel.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Gary Brown officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Wednesday.
