Judith Ann Wilson Johnson, 87, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She had lived in Jonesboro for 14 years, moving here from Little Rock. She was an avid reader and a history buff. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was her favorite pastime. She was born to Marion Henry and Lillabell Francis Scott Ross on June 25, 1932 in Ashdown, Arkansas. Her previous residences also included DeQueen and Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Edward Wilson and William D. Johnson, her parents, and one brother.
Survivors include her son, Edward Scott Wilson (Debby) of Stokesdale, North Carolina; daughter, Marilyn Wilson Copeland (Ken) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Dr. Bryan Copeland (Ronda), Connor Wilson, Claren Wilson (finance Eric Mulhall) and Drew Copeland (Meredith); great grandchildren, Hudson Copeland, Addison Copeland, Davis Copeland and Sam Copeland.
Funeral services will be 11:00 Monday, December 16, 2019, at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Jonesboro with Ross Burton officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro in Charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. Monday morning until service time. Burial will be private.
