Juanita Shores

Juanita Shores, 88, of Lake City, died Thursday March 8, 2007 at Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City.

She was born in Tyronza and lived in Lake City since 1966, moving there from Detroit, Michigan. She was a retired machine operator for Fle-O-Tube Company, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake City.

She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Shores and her parents Thomas Fredrick Lillard and Mazzie Gammill Lillard, Three brothers, Fredrick Eugene Lillard, Ralph Gammill Lillard and Curtis Thomas Lillard. One sister, Lena Mae Cannon.

She is survived by two sisters; Clara Huffman of Livonia, Michigan and Dorothy Hardin of Cedar Lake, Indiana.

Funeral service will be Saturday March 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Lake City with Rev. Ron Langston officiating. Burial will be in the Tyronza Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday March 10, 2007 from 12:30 P.M. until service time at Emerson Funeral Home in Lake City.
