Juanita Hope Baugh

September 25, 1918 — January 31, 2011

Juanita Hope Baugh, 92, of Bono, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Craighead County to Andy & Ula Chappell Cook and had lived in the Bono area most of her life. A member of the Bono Church of Christ, she loved to cook and was known as the best cook around. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mickey R. (Vickie) Baugh, Patty Baugh (Larry) Dulaney, all of Jonesboro; sisters, Erma Bobbitt, Arizona, Doris Barrow, Springfield, Missouri, Andalee Bohne, Shirley Harrel, both of Jonesboro; 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 70 years, Elvis Baugh; her son, Jackie Baugh; brothers, Morris Cook, Sammie Cook; and sister, Marie Jones.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Father Ron Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Caldwell’s Chapel Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Brad Sharp, Lane Sharp, Todd Baugh, Chris Baugh, Jamison Baugh, Cody Sharp, and Chad Powell.

Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
