Jr Davis

JR Davis 43, of Jonesboro died Sunday February 21, 2010 at his home.

He was born in Long Beach, California and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was a supervisor who was employed by Best Manufacture for 12 years. He had also been employed by Omni, Ace Tool, and was self employed for the last year of his life.

He was of the Baptist belief and was preceded in death by his parents; Elmo Murice Davis Sr. and Mary Gipson Davis.

Jr. is survived by his daughter Magen Davis of Jonesboro.
Two brothers; Jerry Davis of Evansville, Indiana and Roland Davis of Rogersville, Missouri.
Seven sisters, Darlene Risner of Washington State, Debbie Hall, Ann Liles, Nancy Serpico, Mona Beall, Tosha Hill all of Jonesboro and Thresia Picanco of Lowell, Massachusetts.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday February 26, 2010 in Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Emil Williams officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time, Friday February 26, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Active pallbearers will be Frank Macon, Rick Dews, Michael Harrison, Joe Beall, Jimmy Hall and Andy Serpico.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Liles, Dwaine Groves, Bobby Barker and Rob Jones.
