Joyce Shea

Joyce Shea, 80, of Jonesboro, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1976, moving here from Hanover Park, Illinois and was a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church. She was an owner/operator for over twenty years, of the Eskimo Queen with her husband, Art Shea. Joyce was a member of the Nettleton Order of the Eastern Star and was preceded in death by her husband, Art Shea, her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Sandra Shopher, Jonesboro; Lana Hanson, Bakersfield, California; Glenda Branch and DeAnna Carter, both of Jonesboro; one sister, Nellie Weatherton, Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Emerson’s Memorial Chapel with Brother Stan Ballard officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 5-7 Monday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
