Joyce L. Carter

Joyce L. Carter, 75, of Jonesboro, died February 28, 2009 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was born in Greene County and had spent much of her life in California, Las Vegas, and South Dakota before moving to Jonesboro 3 years ago. She was of the Baptist belief and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carter; her parents, Robert L. & Dora G. Spain Potter; a daughter, Brenda Hensley; 3 brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by her brothers, Charles Potter, Jonesboro, Paul Mack Potter, Walcott; and her sister, Lois Holt, St. Louis.

There will be a graveside service Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
