Joyce Stark Goodman

Joyce Stark Goodman passed peacefully from this life on December 12, 2020. She was born June 8, 1928, in Higdon Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolen Goodman and her parents Layne and Georgia Stark of Black Oak and Jonesboro. She is survived by one sister, Anita Peek of Kansas City, Missouri, her daughter, Janie (George) Krennerich, her grandchildren Dr. Erika (Dustin) Chudy, and Kyle (Trosha) Krennerich, and the loves of her life, her great-grandchildren MaKenzie Krennerich, Gavin Krennerich, and Luke Chudy all of Jonesboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a graduate of Black Oak High School and attended Williams Baptist College. She was a member of Highland Drive Baptist Church.

Mrs. Goodman will be remembered as a woman of great faith, a loyal friend, a loving mother and grandmother, and the possessor of a sweet, caring disposition. She truly believed that serving and caring for others was her calling in life.
