Joyce Goforth

Joyce Elaine Goforth, 66, of Jonesboro died Saturday April 27, 2013 at her home. She was born in Jonesboro on April 5, 1947 to Ray and Edna Hall. Joyce spent all of her life in Jonesboro and was a homemaker. She loved fishing, working in the garden and planting flowers. Joyce was a wonderful wife, mother, best friend and will be missed by many.
Preceded in death by her father; Ray Hall, Mother; Edna Irene West, Stepfather; J.C. West, daughter; Frankie Rook, sisters; Thelma Jean Floyd and Mildred Grimes. Nephew; James Brian West.

Survived by her husband of 30 years; Joe Goforth of the home.

Son; Billy Holland (Jackie) of Jonesboro.

Daughter; Karen Holland of Jonesboro.

Stepdaughters; Donna Joe Hutcherson and Patty Caples both of Jonesboro.

Brothers; Gary West, Larry West, Bobby Hall and Waymon Hall all of Jonesboro.

5 grandchildren; Eric Rook, Katrina Riggin, Ora Holland, Sierra Holland and Cannon Holland.

2 great grandchildren; Makenzie Rook and Jackson Rook.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Glen Hurst officiating. Burial will be at Strawfloor Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Cannon Holland, Josh West, Eric Rook, Dale Hall, Aaron Riggin and James Jones.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Monday at Emerson Funeral Home.
