Joshua Michael Watson

Joshua Michael Watson, 41, of Trumann, formerly of Troy, Illinois passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 in Port Allen, Louisiana. He was born August 5, 1979 in Belleville, Illinois. While in Troy, Josh was a member of Troy United Methodist Church. He worked for Triad Electric as quality control. Josh loved his job and his work family. He also loved his family and friends and enjoyed gatherings, grilling and entertaining. Josh was the life of the party and was a sports fanatic. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, Arkansas Razorbacks and UFC.

Josh is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Staten; paternal grandparents, Harry and Jeanne Tippett.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Watson of the home; son, Gage Raymond of Trumann; 2 daughters, Alexis (Sam Puckett) Walters, Avery Walters both of Trumann; parents, Dane and Debbie Tippett of Troy, Illinois; maternal grandfather, Bill Staten of Cahokia, Illinois; sister, Kylee (Steven) Weiss of Troy, Illinois; 2 grandchildren, Brayden Walters Puckett, Lylah Puckett both of Trumann; niece, Adlee Weiss of Troy Illinois and numerous other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 3:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. John McClaughlin officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm prior to the service.

Burial will be private.
