Joshua Blake Carpenter

February 1, 1992 — July 20, 2013

Joshua Blake Carpenter, 21, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at his residence.

Josh was of the Baptist belief, and was a very free spirited, loving, and outgoing person. He was a great father, loving son and brother. He always rooted for the underdog and was very creative. Josh liked to snowboard, skateboard, play basketball and soccer, and go fishing with his friends. He also enjoyed playing video games, cooking, and was always up for a challenge.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Ryan Carpenter, and his paternal grandfather, John Carpenter.

He is survived by his parents, Chuck (Elizet) Carpenter of McKinney, Texas and Christeena (Andrew) Mooneyhan of Jonesboro; fiancé, Brandi Ring of Jonesboro; Daughter, Charlee Carpenter; five half-brothers, Jordan, Jared, Joseph, Jonathan, and Jayden, Mooneyhan, all of Jonesboro; one sister, Jacquelynn Carpenter of Jonesboro, and two half sister, Lilliana Carpenter of McKinney, Texas and Juliana Mooneyhan of Jonesboro; paternal grandmother, Judi (Larry) Gray of Crawfordsville, Indiana; maternal grandparents Maggie (Larry) Henson of Mountain Home, and Frank (Brenda) Taylor of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.

There will be a visitation from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, July 23rd, at Central Baptist Church with a service to follow at 3 p.m. with Don Blackmore officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
