Josephine Stewart Ford

Josephine Stewart Ford, 91, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, November 3, 2016, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She moved to Jonesboro from Marvell in 1991. While living in Marvell, she was a member of the Marvell United Methodist Church. Since moving to Jonesboro, she was a member of the South Caraway Road Baptist Church. She worked in the pharmacy of the family owned, Ford Drug Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Ford; her parents, two brothers, Bond Stewart and Milton Stewart Jr.; and one grandchild, Shawn Perry George.

Survivors include her son, Charles Edwin Ford; daughter, Gwen Henderson both of Jonesboro, sister, Clarice Hopkins of New Orleans; grandchildren, Jennifer Emery and Lindsey George; great grandchildren, Brayden Thomspon, Sarah Hubbard, Landon Emery, and Braxton George.

Graveside services will be 3:00 Monday, November 7, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Barton with Don Martin officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:30 at the Marvell United Methodist Church.
