Joseph Zacek Jr.

Joseph Zacek Jr, 76, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday June 15, 2024 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born July 14, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois.

Joseph has lived in Jonesboro for almost a year having moved from Grand Junction, Michigan. He was a truck driver for many years and also served our great country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, having early morning coffee and riding motorcycles.

Joseph is preceded in death by both of his parents as well as a sister.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sandy, of the home; daughters, Annette, Christina and Sherry as well as grandchildren, Tyler, Johnny, Jeffrey and Tiffany.

A visitation will be held Friday June 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
