Joseph Alois "Joey" Vesely Jr

Mr. Joseph Alois “Joey” Vesely Jr,62, of Lake City, formerly of Bay Town, TX, departed this life on June 14, 2022, in Jonesboro. He was born to the late Joseph Alois Sr and Norma May Vesely.

Joey was self-employed construction worker and heavy machine operator. He always enjoyed spending time with his grand boys, with “boy nights”. He spent time watching races, playing video games, messing with Lego’s, and majority of the time he was found working somewhere.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister Sheila Smith.

He is survived by his spouse of 36 years, Sheryl Ezell of the home; one son, Bobby (Amy) Ezell of Bono; two brothers, William Vesely of Halletsville, TX, Ray Vesely of Halletsville, TX; three sisters, Jodie Rice of Halletsville, TX, Shirley Jackson of Bay Town, TX, Dora (Chris) Hebert of Laport,TX; and two grandsons, Christopher Ezell, Gavin Ezell, both of Bono.

Friends may visit at Emerson Memorial Chapel, Friday, June 17, 2022, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m.
