Joseph Kurowski

Joseph Kurowski, 90 of Bay died Monday evening in Riverview, Michigan where he had been living in the past months. He was born in Patton, Pennsylvania and had lived several years in Bay.

Mr. Kurowski was retired from Chrysler Corporation. Following his retirement he had worked for K-Mart.

He was a member of the Catholic Church, was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Jonesboro.

Mr. Kurowski was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie, his brother Tom K. Kurowski, and 4 sisters, Violet Toombs, Rose Logan, Bette Freemen, and Stella Pearson. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Father Mark Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
