Jonathon Keith Bell

Jonathon Keith Bell, 17, of Brookland, died Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Jonathon was born in Jonesboro to Scott and Patty Stallings Bell. He has lived in the Brookland area most of his life. Jonathan enjoyed frog gigging, fishing, hunting, and other outdoor sports. He was also an avid pool player. As a member of Walnut St. Baptist Church he was very active in the church youth group.

Survivors include his parents Scott and Patty of the home; one sister Jessica Hargett (Matt) and niece Bailey Hargett of Jonesboro; fraternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marjorie Bell of Harrisburg; maternal grandparents Eva and Jerry Stallings of Brookland;

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Walnut Street Baptist with Brother Jeff Tapp and Brother Jerry Parker officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Dalton Hodges, Austin Hargett, Blake Maskop, Scott Bushong, Jessie Weckmann, and Terrell Sandlin serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Walnut Street Baptist Church youth group and Jeff Moss.
