Jon Allen Gerton

Jon Allen Gerton Sr, 72, of Jonesboro, formerly of California departed this life on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 13, 1950 to the late Jon and Jean Gerton.

Jon moved from California around 2006 to Jonesboro. He loved to ride motorcycles, going fishing, playing and watching video games, working in the yard, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; his wife Debbie Wilkerson; one son, Michael Gerton.

He is survived by; four sons, Jon Gerton Jr, Troy Gerton, Jeff Gerton, David Gerton all of Oregon; one daughter, Jami Carroll (Justin) of Oregon; one brother, Thomas Brown (Melody) of Jonesboro; and a lifetime of friends.

Family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
