Johnny Terrell, 67, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
Born in Newport, Johnny was a 1969 graduate of Jonesboro High School where he was active in athletics. He lived most of his life in Jonesboro where he was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Johnny was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and was the founder, owner and operator of Service Group 360 in Jonesboro.
Johnny was a founding board member of Out of the Dark, Inc. and served on the board of the Jonesboro Chapter of American Red Cross. He enjoyed outdoor activities and the woods. Johnny loved living off of the grid up in Melbourne in Izard County where he would go four-wheeling with his friends and ride his mule Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred Cherry Terrell and Helen Epperson Terrell and his sister, Susan Graham.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Terrell of the home;
4 sons and daughters-in-law: Jeremy Terrell of Jonesboro, Christopher and Cara Terrell of Kansas City, and John and Melissa Terrell and David and Kylie Terrell all of Melbourne;
2 daughters and sons-in-law: Christy and Scott Lemmons and Evelyn and John Miller all of Jonesboro;
1 brother, Jimmy Terrell of Jonesboro;
18 grandchildren, and
2 nieces and 2 nephews
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 301 E. Highland Dr., Jonesboro, AR with Bishop Brent Rougeau officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
