Johnny "Buster" Massey

Johnny “Buster” Massey, 37, of Jonesboro died Wednesday morning, May 1, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center of natural causes. He was a registered nurse and a trauma nurse for St. Bernard’s ER. Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Ora Massey and Shelby and Jessie Pennington.

Survivors include his parents, Carolyn and Elwood Massey; brother, David Massey (Tabatha); sister, Cathy Heckmann (Keith) all of Jonesboro; nephews, Phillip Massey, and Logan Heckman; and niece, Sara Heckman. Graveside services will be 2:00 Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Trinity Cemetery with Brother Bill Sardin officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Honorary pallbearers are St. Bernard’s Emergency Room Staff and St. Bernard’s Medical Center employees. Visitation will be from 5-7 Saturday night at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
