Johnnie Belle Eastworth

Johnnie Belle Eastworth, 84, of Jonesboro, died Friday April 29, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born and lived her lifetime in Jonesboro. She was a supervisor and a member of the Nettleton United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Lee “Hank” Eastworth Jr., parents, John and Gertrude Sanders, brothers, Virgil and E.D. Sanders and one sister, Helen Stonecipher.

Survived by her daughter, Charlotte McGowan and husband Nick of Bono.

Granddaughter, Johna Davis of Brookland and three great grandchildren, Braden Melton, Evan Davis and Lilly Singleton.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday May 3, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Harmon Whitehurst and Rev. Bob Heath officiating.

Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Monday May 2, at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Dotson, Tim Stonecipher, Eric Stonecipher, Barry Melton, Shane Bowers and Herbie Mayes Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Braden Melton, Evan Davis, Jerry Hitchcock, Floyd Stonecipher and the Staff of Plantation Homes.
